18 April 2019 – Malaysia Rugby Union is proud to announce ATF Sports Taping as the latest sponsor to the Union. The well-known tape brand will be the MRU sports partner for the remainder of 2019.
The sponsorship will see all the national team receive the benefit. The contribution will cover the 15s squad, both men and women 7s as well as for the age group rugby squad. The deal will also see the brand as a sponsor for the 2019 National 7s Series as well as 2019 Agong Cup.
ATF Sports Taping founder, Mohd Azmir bin Zainul Abidin, who is also a former national rugby player presented the tape to the Malaysia 15s squad at MSN yesterday. Azmir shared that “This is the time for me to give back to the game that I love. I really hope that this contribution can help the team to perform better in the game.” Azmir was part of the 2018 squad in last year Asia Rugby Championship Premier.
This is not the first time ATF supported the Union. They were part of the sponsor team in the 2017 AirAsia Malaysia Rugby League.
